얼마 전 영화감독 올리버 스톤은 자신의 영화 <뉴클리어 나우>에서 적극적인 친핵발전주의자로서의 입장을 펼치며 기후위기의 강력한 대안으로 핵발전을 주장한다. 영화 장면 중간에  핵폐기물을 식히기 위해 담겨진 냉각수조를 가리키며 원전직원에게 “이곳에서 수영도 할 수 있죠?”라고 묻기 까지 한다. 안타까움과 냉소를 담아 이 작품을 진행했다.

In 2023, movie director Oliver Stone argued for nuclear power as a powerful alternative to the climate crisis in his film <Nuclear Now>. One of scenes in the movie, he points to a cooling water tank which is to cool down nuclear waste and then asks the nuclear power plant employee, "Can I swim here?" This work was conducted with sadness and cynicism.
